ThePrimeAdvisoryGroup was recently announced as an award winner in two of Australia’s most prestigious business start-ups awards – BRW’s FastStarters and Smart Company’s Startup Smart Top 50.

The Chatswood-based business placed 49^th and 6^th respectively – making them the highest performing financial services organisation to enter both awards from thousands of entries from across the country.

No-one is more thrilled with the result than CEO, Christian Borkowski. “Shortly after we began trading, the world was plunged into the GFC,” he said. “It just goes to show you what you can achieve if you’re completely committed to building a business and honouring the people who support that goal – staff and clients.”

The Startup Smart awards recognise the most innovative and fastest-growing new businesses in Australia. The list features start-ups from a broad cross-section of industries, and locations across the country. Some 80% of those vying for a top 50 spot this year had never entered before.

The BRW fast starters list features Australia’s fastest start-up companies ranked based on turnover for the 2009-2010 financial year and is one of Australia’s most competitive awards.

“When you add these two accolades to our State Finalist award, also selected from hundreds of businesses, for the wealth creation part of our business and combine it with the results from our first customer satisfaction survey – which frankly blew us all away - it’s clear pursuing exemplary customer service is the only way forward for small businesses that want to grow to becoming medium or large business,” said Borkowski.
